The very first step in getting started with Private Model Consulting (PMC) is to apply for the Initial Consultation.
The Initial Consultation can be done in person, via e-mail and or telephone depending on where you are located.
The Initial Consultation costs a flat fee of $100.00 which can be applied to your Private Model Consulting should Christie decide to work with you.
(Note: The Initial Consultation is currently being offered at $50.00 until June 30th, 2010! So if you have been hesitating about whether or not to take the plunge and find out if you have what it takes to make it in modeling, NOW IS THE TIME!)
Why is there a fee for the Initial Consultation?
There are several reasons for this fee.
Christie is only one person. Were she to review and give advice on every single person that submitted pictures, she would have time for nothing else.
Yes, you could go to an "Open Call" at any reputable modeling agency at no cost.
However many times, you will never even get to see the agent, let alone speak with them. Your pictures will go in with the receptionist while you wait. And many times they will come right back out with nothing more than the word "No" leaving you to wonder the word "Why?"
In your Initial Consultation, Christie will explain the "why" and give you a reasonable amount of advice for how to go about improving.
Nearly the same goes for the no cost "auditions" at traditional modeling schools. The main difference is that a traditional modeling school will always tell you what you want to hear in order to get your money.
With the Initial Consultation from Private Model Consulting, you will get an honest and highly experienced evaluation of your potential and "model type" as well as a reasonable amount of direction for proceeding regardless of whether or not Christie takes you on as a student.
In addition, the Initial Consultation includes unlimited Questions & Answers for up to 3 months with Christie via e-mail in order to help keep you moving forward.

** If you are under 18: 
#1 You will need your parent or guardian's permission in order to apply for the Initial Consultation.
#2 After the button is clicked parents will fill out the Consent & Liability Form and the Application Form.
** If you are 18 or over: 
#1 After the button is clicked you will fill out both the Liability Form and the Application Form.
Both under 18 and 18 or over must make sure to include photos. You can attach them to the form and or add links to any on-line portfolios that you may have. --If you already have some professional photos, great. If not, simple snapshots will do. Remember to wear little to no make-up. You'll need one close up face shot, both profiles, a full length, and one face shot with your hair down so that we can see the length. Please
submit color shots whenever possible.
Once everything has been received, please allow up to 14 working days for a response. You will then be contacted in order to set up a time for a telephone or face to face conference depending on where you are located.
At the end of the conference, Christie will then explain whether or not she is willing to take you on as a student. However, regardless of her decision, you will have been given honest and highly experienced advice as well as 3 months of unlimited questions.
If the answer is that Christie would indeed like to take you on as a student, Christie will take more time with you in order to further discuss your goals. She will then take up to 7 working days to design your personalized curriculum and time frame in which to achieve it. After this, she will discuss with you costs and payment options.
